Greetings, fellow traveler.
I’m Tommy.
I’ve lived in eight states, worked in nearly twenty, and collected more careers than seems entirely reasonable. Floral designer. Actor. Director. Cabaret Singer. Tarot reader. Restaurant critic. Feng shui consultant. Performing arts presenter. Wine buyer. Spiritual coach. Not in that order, and often several at once.
These days I write, I speak, and I spend a great deal of happy time at a table for one. This site is where all of it lives together, contradictions included.

The Book
My new book, Eating Adverbs: A Recipe for Living Fully, Boldly, and Unapologetically, is out now. It’s part memoir, part psychology, part field guide to enjoying your own company, organized into five sections, one for each kind of adverb: time, degree, manner, place, and frequency. Or, put another way, when, how fully, in what way, where, and how often we choose to live. It became a #1 New Release on Amazon, which still surprises me a little.
Wine, minus the snobbery

I teach wine the way I wish someone had taught me, without the gatekeeping or the jargon. Classes are coming soon, in person and online, and Solo Sips is already up on YouTube.
I hold the WSET Level 4 Diploma, so you’re in good hands.
Speaking

I love being in a room with an audience. I talk about solo living and the art of savoring your own company, about gratitude as a daily practice (I’ve written down five things every morning since 2011), and about building a full life on your own terms. If that sounds like something your stage or your event could use, I’d love to hear from you.
Coaching
I also coach. My Eating Adverbs coaching helps people build a life they enjoy living on their own terms. The details live over at eatingadverbs.com.
Wander Through the Rest
There’s more, of course. Wine and food. Theater and music. A quiet, ongoing interest in the spiritual side of things. Wander whichever parts call to you.
Arts Consulting

And if you came for the performing arts work, more than 25 years of curating seasons and advising presenting organizations, that lives under Arts Consulting.
Stay curious, stay adventurous, and above all, savor your own company.
Epicuriously yours,
Tommy
